Nigel has been living in Ticino since 1995 and has worked as an external language consultant and trainer for the major pharmaceutical companies, banks and trust companies throughout the region providing courses in medical, legal and financial English. He collaborated with Corsi per Adulti for close to ten years in Bellinzona, Lugano and Chiasso. He has worked with SPAI & STA in Biasca and Viganello, as external examiner, English language fluency trainer for CEO’S and as course developer and course coordinator from Biasca to Chiasso in both the private and public sector.
He is the creator of the Doctor English learning system and founder of Doctor English Professional Language Services & Consulting, the English language fluency training centre. “The Doctor English mission is to provide English language students with the simplest, most effective and enjoyable strategies for developing English language fluency by helping them to focus on ways to quickly learn to understand spoken English and form sentences spontaneously …”. Nigel is also a qualified professional coach.

MARK has been teaching English all over the world (Japan, Ecuador and Spain, for example) for the better part of twenty years, alongside spells working as a translator, film script reader, academic/commercial proposal editor and international event organiser. Educated at Christ Church, Oxford (M.A. English Language and Literature) with additional TEFL qualifications, he has hung up his nomad boots and settled down north of Lugano where he now resides with his wife, two children and a very large dog. Outside of the classroom and family life he enjoys reading, music and retracing the footsteps of ancient sacred walks and sites.
